Warming up your z before you drive

That statement is not completely true. Your Oil pressure is low at idle once your car is at operating temp,(15 PSI) But on a cold start your Oil pressure is very high (85-90) until car is completely warm and stays high even after driving initially for a few miles. Watch your oil pressure gauge some time

Truth... The 350z is so loud... Loud exhaust, loud transmission, loud engine, loud road noise coming through the wheel wells, and so on...

Back when I used to daily and drift my z. I would just get in and go for street driving; for drift events the normal routine consisted of warming up for about a minute, perform 20-30 second run, let idle for 2-3 min, and shut down.

I purchased the z with 30k miles and sold it at 105k miles. This was my normal routine for 3 of the 4 years I owned it.
