new Z owner please help!
hi guys, i picked up a 2003 350Z 90k miles, ran great for two days then all of a sudden as i was driving it and it sputtered and died. felt like i ran out of gas, but i have 1/4 tank. So i replaced the fuel pump yesterday but to no avail. its throwing two codes p0138 and misfire cyl 1. anyone have any suggestions? thanks in advance.

Check the fuses and relays that control the fuel delivery system. I'm betting the problem is there since your car simply died on the road like you said. After you get it running, make sure you don't have any shorts to ground on those circuits, or else you just keep blowing fuses.

i am mostly giving ya hell.... it might also be the camshaft position sensor

So its turning over but not starting now? Needs spark air and fuel its odd for a fuel pump to fail while your driving, it happens but its more common that it fails to work when you go to start the car...
Anyways if its turning over but not starting...
Checking all the fuses and relays is a good place to start... Are there any major modifications that would cause the problem? Alarm system? Crazy stereo set-up? Etc?
You could disconnect the intake hose from the throttle body and spray a little carb and choke cleaner in their, reconnect and see if it starts for a second. If it starts you know its not getting fuel.
