Hi guys,
I've been away for a while on business. I got back into town and was treated to seeing my first 350z at Bankston Nissan in Lewisville TX. It was a beautiful Black Touring model with the most incredible orange leather seats.
Anyways, show me your new rides if you've gottem

BTW, one thing I wanted to mention.
When at Bankston, I took a long hard look at the Z. I spent a little over a half hour looking at just the exterior of the car (I couldn't open it up because it was sold of course). The impression that kept coming to mind was that as beautiful as this car looks in photos, they really don't come close to doing this car justice. The last car that I had a similar impression (not as strong however) was the '99 Mustang. When I first saw photos of that car, I thought it was the ugliest thing Ford had wrought. However in person I quickly grew to admire the design.
But I digress back to the Z.
The first impression I got was that the car definitly looks larger in person than in pics. The undisturbed and straight beltline gives the car a sleeker look that isn't translated into pictures IMO. The line across the mid section of the body only adds to this effect. The greenhouse is much smaller than I thought it was. The roofline looks lower than the impression photos gave me. All this translated to a car that looked much sleeker than I had perviously imaginged. Photos also made me think that *** end of the Z was fat (and I don't mean phat). The actual rear end is still big but not nearly as what I was led to believe.
From what I could see of the interior, it was just plain out art. I agree with some critics that the "Z" emblem in emblazend a bit too much but not nearly bad enough to detract from the beauty of this interior. Those speed control buttons on the steering wheel, however, have got to go. What the hell were they thinking. The trunk, as seen through the rear window, didn't seem nearly as small as pictures would have you believe. Don't get me wrong, my old J-30's truck (as small as it was) was huge compared to this. However, the trunk is definitly useful. Besides, it's not like you bought a Z to move to a new apartment ehh?
I still haven't seen a G-35 coupe in person to make a final choice on what I'm going to buy, but DAMMMMMN that Z is a finnnnne lookin' car!
