Cruise control add-on on Base??
so the only thing i dont like about the Base model is there is no cruise control...i'd like to have it cause i do a lot of highway travelling and think it would keep me out of tickets. anybody know about how much it costs to have it added on at the dealership? do they replace the whole steering wheel or just add a little control to the side of the steering column? thanks.

SOL guys, thats what we get for being cheap and not going for the enthusiast.
You cannot add it on at the dealer. Theres prob a way but too expensive I am sure.
I did find something that works on long trips. Call me ghetto but it worked.
I used The Club to press on the accelerator. Saves your foot for short periods of time.

I looked into this and concluded it cannot be done. Each model has different ECU's and the base and enthusiast ECU's are different. Shortly after I came to this conclusion, I totaled my car. My next car I made sure to buy the enthusiast. It is a much better deal (LSD, HID headlights, auto dim mirror, pedals and cruise).
