Check your clutch and brake pedal arms under dash, should have a small tab on each with a rubber plug in a hole in the tab to close switch on clutch and brake to disengage cruise, if plug is gone(they dry rot over time and break out) switch will disengage cruise at all times, replace with a plastic fender skirt button like on the front of the bumper cover. Perfect fit and will not break out.
