Hello I'm new to the site. I got a great deal on a 2004 350z, but it didn't have a radio only the factory navi unit, i install a aftermarket radio but once i did the dash lights, power mirror and the small information pod stop working.... i have tried..... checking all the fuses (kick panel, fuse panel in front and behind the battery)... all the fuses are good, is there anything else i can try?

 

I don't know how you messed up the install that badly.
Turn off the radio. Do they work?
Take out the radio. Do they work?

Basic troubleshooting, find where exactly the problem can be by eliminating variables. Come back with some specifics and we can try to figure out what you broke.

 

im not sure what happen, I've done many installs and never had a problem
none of the wires touched, it was a basic install i hooked everything up outside the car before plugging it into the car.
I've turned the radio off. they still don't work
took the radio out. still don't work
took harness out. still don't work
I checked all fuses they are good

 

If you went back to how it was before and it doesn't work you either shorted something out or burnt something. Gotta check from there, check the manual and the electrical diagram to see if your problem areas share a common fuse/ground etc.
