One of the motors on one of my cooling fans fried. It also melted the plastic fan shroud so im looking to replace the entire assembly (fans, shroud, motors)..

What are my options? The cheapest ones I found were by TYC and Sunbelt and were both $85. Junk?

Which would you suggest? Im on a pretty tight budget...Maybe $125 max

 

that is VERY tight.....so maybe a junk yard?

I got an assembly off Amazon with an aluminum shroud...then replaced fans with Spal....but I needed as much cooling as possible.

I'm weary of off brand fans since they may turn but you never really know how much they are REALLY pushing. Since it's winter maybe get the assembly and plan on replacing motors if needed in spring??

 

eBay just buy a fan assembly for like $80 new.
