Default How in the frickity frank do you remove the center console?

I have searched all over the Internet and I can't find a single video that shows how to remove the center console so that I'm able to paint it. I've watched videos where they take the entire thing out radio, head unit, cluster gauge and all the electrical system but I need to get just the frame out so I can paint it...any tips?

You need to remove the whole thing, with the cubby, gauges, and radio, as a unit. Don't know what you mean by "just the frame".

What the ***, take some pictures of what in the world you are talking about.

If your talking about the area of the head unit... It depends on if you have navigation or not... If that's a no on the navigation open the waterfall cover right in front let up the felt part with a plastic trim tool remove the screws once thats out you should see the 10mm screws holding it in place...if I remember correctly.

Remove shifter plastic cover with a/c unit, then that should expose the first two screws. Then remove the back of the cubby, and there should be a few more screws. Pretty sure that's it. Lift from the bottom up, so you can pop out the tabs holding in the top

You will also have to unscrew and disengage the white box that the AC ***** connect to, it it screwed in by the two inner brass screws. Also be careful with the wire connection of the upper gauges you have to disconnect before pulling.

It is also a bit of a pain to get the damn thing back on due to the radio wires/white box shuffle that is required...
