Default Trunk light not working

I checked the fuse for it and the fuse is still intact and not blown. I thought maybe the light bulb was out so I ordered a knew bulb and still not working. Maybe something internally with the wiring? Not sure what else could be the problem.

A few things.

Wiggle the bulb around and make sure it is just not fitting poorly.

Your new bulb could also be bad, something to consider.

You can use a volt meter on the plug and see if you are actually getting voltage.
