Default Accuracy of OBD II Bluetooth?

I bought one of these just to mess around, but I saw something that I'm not sure what to think about it.

Wide open at 6800rpm, it is only reading my throttle opening at 83%.

I'm guessing it could be three things, the throttle, the sensor, or the scanner.

Anyone seen this before? I know most of what I can do to remedy it, but just wanted some input before I get started....

Reader is just repeating what the ECU is telling it. What setting exactly are you reading.

What condition is the car in when you get this reading, what gear? What year is the car, any mods? Why do you care and why are you testing this? It sounds like you are jumping to conclusions.

From my understanding the ECU limits throttle opening in first. It also has a soft rev limiter so you might be hitting that.

2005
Popcharger, and Kinetix Upper Manifold.
The app has a feature that shows the widest the throttle opened during that run, I'll check it again in a few different gears and see what happens,

Why do you care and why are you testing this?
Just playing with the app, but I'd like to make sure I am getting all the power I can with what I have...

I haven't checked that in a while. Maybe I should try it again. It's been a while since I ran the BT OBD app.

Its been well documented that the VQ35 doesn't go to 100% throttle. Nor does it need to.

How's that?
Also, what about 0-60mph accuracy?

The throttle pedal is not connected directly to the throttle valve - it's an electronic throttle, it merely tells the ECU what you are requesting, the ECU takes multiple factors into account when controlling the actual throttle opening

Torque has a huge delay. Testing other apps its obvious. Most Bluetooth apps or software allow some kind of time delay as a choice. Seems with Torque the delay is about .5 second. Dash Command is dead on fast. Great interface. Modern but not as technical as Torque. So Bluetooth isn't gonna be perfect but I think accuracy depends on the software, PC, Tablet, etc. In other words, the readings aren't gonna be wrong but they will be delayed depending, especially if you are data logging rather than just running real time. Only so much it can do

Happens to my BT adapter too in Torque Pro. Looks like it's a common thing.
