Yeah it will start but the air bag light will come on. Odd that the seat would solve a clicking noise in the dash.

Do you have the heated leather seats?

No way.

One of my cars is always sitting for over a week. I just start it for 5 minutes every so often. Screw disconnecting then reconnecting if I want to drive it

You wouldn't have to disconnect the battery, you could make a toggle switch that connects and disconnects the battery. If you routed it into the car you would just have to flip the switch whenever you stop or start the car

I was also recommending that to the guy with the drain on his battery because if he doesn't disconnect it his battery would be dead...

starting the car once a week for 5 minutes doesn't help anything.

I tend to agree with you. It doesn't make sense to me either. I think it was just a coincidence, especially considering it didn't come back after reconnecting the seat. Yes, I do have the heated leather seats if that means something.

My battery drain went from 6 amps to about 0.08 amps, which I understand is acceptable. So I think I'm going to start the process of putting the car back together and hope like heck I can remember where everything goes.

Dude.

DUDE.

Man. Dude.

FML is right.

Maybe start putting the dash back together and check for the clicking with each piece you put back / hook back up.

Dude. SMH. You took a bite right out of the middle of this $h!t sandwich. You deserve some sort of patience and a ambition award. Ambitience - That is what you have. I am 6'2" 330 lbs. I have a good time laying on the floor of my Durango working under the dash. I think when it comes time to get under the dash of my Z my 11 year old daughter will be getting some OJT or trial by fire.

Well I got the car put back together. I didn't have anything left over, so I guess I did it right. LOL

Still no more clicking or parasytic drain on the battery so I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on it. Annoying as hell not knowing what the problem was though.

Thanks again to everybody that offerred advice, information and suggestions. Have a great day guys.
