Well for what it's worth I just ordered my 04 350Z Track w/ navigation & side air bags. The total came up to $33,900. Since I plan on leasing the vehicle; monthly cost wiil be around $465. I purchased the car from Lynnes Nissan in Blomfield NJ on 2/14/04.

I hope this helps you out.

There are several web sites that will give your dealer invoice pricing for base as well as options. i got a touring automatic w/side&head airbags, aluminum tread, rear carpet, floor mats, splash guards :list @ $33,200, invoice $30,800 paid $700 over invoice $31,500. You can buy over the internet and save another $300 or so. Prices will get firmer as spring approaches

I'm not saying you're lying, but I have to say that your price doesn't seem right to me. $33,900 on a Track with NAV and side airbags is below invoice... I don't know of ANY dealers going below invoice. MSRP is $37,310 w/ those options... tax at 6% would bring the total to $39,548. Then $500 for destination & handling would bring the total to $40,048. So you're saying you somehow saved $6,148... something is not right there... dealers themselves don't get that much savings. And plus you ordered this car... so they weren't trying to move it off the lot. Care to elaborate on how you got the car for cheaper than a Nissan employee could get it?

Sure I don't mind elaborating, I purchased the car for 33,900 Track w/ Nav & side air bags. I did not pay for destination and handling. Also I did not say that tax was included. I leased the car and my monthly payment is about $465. The company that is financing the vehicle is Han's the dealership is Lynne's located in Bloomfield NJ. That monthly nut of $465 is not including tax, so add another $35 or so onto it. That's it...

ONE THING YOU FELLAS SHOULD KNOW THERE IS A HOLD BACK THAT GETS WORKED IN TO THE EQUATION WHEN I BOUGHT MY CAR I HAD ORDERED IT AND SINCE I BOUGHT OFF THE TRUCK THE DEALER MADE A EXTRA 900.00 DOLLARS BECAUSE IT DID NOT SIT ON THE LOT SO IN TRUTH THEY COULD SELL BELOW INVOICE BUT ONLY IF YOU TAKE DELIVERY WHEN THE CARS GETS TO YOUR DEALER.

I believe my MSRP was $30,450. I got my wheels (MSRP $4000 -payed:$3260), exhaust (MSRP $1400 -payed$1000), and clear mask ($500) for $32,000. Dealer went down to about $28k I believe.

So $2.4k off of 04 Enth

Ah. So when you said total, you didn't mean total price you'd have to pay... which would include tax, title & license. That's all I wanted to know.

I paid $38,000 total for my 04 SuperBlack Track fully loaded and with dealer installed custom leather seats. So that's about $2,500 off of MSRP.

Do you have NAV?

I also got the leather seats which are available on the Track from the factory... that's were the extra $900 comes from... plus tax on that.

Just purchased another Z. This time its White Roadster Touring with Dark Blue top. It also has Frost Leather interior.

IT LOOKS CLEAN

Now .

I paid $200 over invoice with VPP.

Its seems like most of the dealer DO NOT DO VPP or DO NOT LIKE TO DO VPP espcially on ROADSTERS.

But I found the dealer that does.

Time to UPDATE my SIG.

Nothing;

I don't know what else to say. You got a great deal based on what you said you got.

I know what the Nissan web site states. I built my car on it time & time again just like every member on this site has. But I don't purchase anything at MSRP. I will not consider a deal until they take off $1500-$1800. That's just me. It is my belief that it's impossible to know what kind of dealer incentives Nissan is giving these dealers; they change every month. Secondly; in my area dealerships are selling cars below what they are paying. Why you ask because they are making more money off interest rates. So instead for getting that 3.9% rate, they give to you for 5.9% and make 2% off you for the duration of the loan. It's a business. That MSRP that we see on the web site is not what they are paying for the car from Nissan. That is merely the estimated retail price.

It is my belief that with good negotiating skills and a reputable dealer a good deal should get done.
