He took a turn too hard, supposedly a car was coming in traffic so he shifted from 2nd to 1st missing 3rd while turning...I guess that caused his wheels to spin..drifted sideways. He tried to correct it but ended up swinging the car over that island.

Notice the crazy angle of the back wheel? I think he snapped his axle too.

Here's another angle of the IS with the bent rear suspension I found on is300.net. I've driven a 5-sp IS and I don't see how you can ever stall or miss a gear in that car. I'd rather call it an automatic transmission that requires some participation.

If it makes you feel any better we get rain in the winter too!
Somedays it's like "Is it going to rain today?? Should I wear my t-shirt or grab the jacket?"

If you wax your car or clean it...it rains the next day.

If you take out your beater...the clouds will part and the sun will shine on your junker!

We've San Diegans are so spoiled with the sun EVERYONE bitches and has a bad day when we see clouds start to come in.

I feel for you guys though..but don't worry..Spring and Summer are around the corner!

Some folks said that he was trying to show off and just ended up losing control of his car. The sad part was it was in front of like a hundred car folks chillin across the street. He was lucky the Firetruck was sitting right there to block his mishap from the rest of traffic. I wonder if it was any benefit when the cops came by and asked "What did you do??"
