Key Fob Programming Not Working. HELP!
I am trying to program my key fob for my 2003 350z but I am not having any luck.
I have followed all steps that I have read online:
1. Enter car and lock all doors using driver side switch
2. Insert key in ignition 6 times
3. Lights flash to indicate that I am in programming mode
4. Insert key into ignition once again, 2 clicks to ACC position.
5. I press lock button on key fob, hazard lights then flash again. Indicating that the car is recognizing the key fob I suppose.
6. Remove key from ignition
7. Open door using driver side switch
I then press the key fob to lock/unlock doors and.... nothing. Am I missing something here? I've followed all steps I could find online and I still haven't found a resolution. Am I doing something wrong?
Please advice, any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the reply but I am still not having any luck. I followed the whole procedure from the video, then unlock and open the door. Once I hit any button on the fob after that there is still no response.

Interesting, cause I followed this one to program mine.. Are you sure the battery is in it? Don't get mad. Have to ask.

Wasn't the battery, I guess the fob was somehow not working. I ordered a replacement off ebay, followed the same steps as before with the new fob and it worked on the first try. Thanks for the help!

Zombie Thread...differnt day same key fob problem1.
I have almost the identical problem. The interesting part is the key insertion. In over a dozen tries I actually attained the results of the program. I would see other strange things at other times. No turn signal flashing, just a fading clicking, like a background noise. 2 turn signal flashes only, then nothing, or just nothing. I can't believe it is so difficult as to fail repeatedly. Also the same symptom referenced by Original poster. The remote worked well until a little later, a couple of hours then it was dead. New battery / new remote. Everyone seems to think the receivers are infallible....At the same time, my car doesn't make contact with the key chip sometimes and doesn't turn on the fuel pump so won't start. Remove the key lock, unlock the doors, try again. Sometimes it takes 3 tries, then, starts right up. There has to be an over arching cause to theres problem. I've seen the same complaint all over the internet, but little if any explanation.
