I can't be the only one see an excellent opportunity for a DIY engine swap video! I can't even try to guess how much that engine would cost to buy right now let alone finding one to buy. Your best bet is to read about putting a turbo on your STOCK 350 both
options are not as simple as that. Especially that engine swap...

From hard experience (2007 HR into a '06 Z33 chassis) for racing, it would be practically impossible to easily swap a VR30DTT into a Z33 chassis. As the previous posters have said, there are easier upgrades and much cheaper engine swaps out there.

You're going to have to turbo anything you have in your 350z or make a new username.

I usually don't post, but again this topic.

1-learning curve on my stock motor 245-255 ish @wheel, was a little stiff since my car is a basic trim.
2-built engine with some goodies and tuned, now 275 ish @wheel.

3-Now, ready for a single turbo/healthy engine with just 4k miles. estimated power according to the shop and comp tests. 350 to 385 and possibly 410hp with an awesome tuned which cost a kidney. Am I ready as a driver? hell no, I could barely handle the stock power when I got it....BTW, just the motor was $4,800. labor on me and brother in law. Turbo laying on the floor 5k with all the toys. with the tune we are talking about final cost without labor approx 13k. am I tripping or does it seems to be correct/close to reality?

I can't imagine having any kind of swap being ideal, unless you own the shop or sponsored by one...just the LS mount kit is 3k....good bye world.
