Tbw Vs. Oem undershoud
Hi all, I have been using this forum for a while but his is my first post. I recently just thrashed y under shroud because my friend insisted that a lunch place he wanted to go to had a great parking lot. I am in desperate need of a new under shroud and i was planning on getting a new one. I have done some research and looked on this forum but haven't found a threat relating to this topic. I know the tbw aluminum under shroud will be heavier than open but i figure it will last longer. Especially because I have found them at the same price point i figured that i could just go for the aluminum one. Does anyone have any pointers they would like to offer on why i should go for one or the other? Any info is appreciated. Here is my 2005 350!

Nope. I know Johnny personally. He designed the undertrays himself. The fact that it looks similar to another brand is because they're simple designs. Not much you can do to differentiate. I personally watched him make cardboard templates. Ask Terrasmak, he know him too.

I’m on TBW #2 , first one took one hell of a beating. Finally hit an embankment and wiped out a lot more then just the undertray

Your car looks great! Like the canards. And glad you asked this because I had never heard of these aluminum undertrays before. My oem is super beat up.

3 quick and easy replacements for the Z-that can be done for relativity low cost
the under-tray (replaces plastic with aluminum -and has easy access door to oil filter)
the radiator plate (which helps closes up the gaps in front and at the top of the radiator)
and the bell housing covering.
anyhow-
search my photos for photos of the sort of strikes the under-tray i am running has been taking.
(the damaged connection parts- pulled out the damaged bolts-and replaced with larger washers to cover the torn parts of the trays)
