So i got a fixer upper that's previously been boosted and currently has a Turbo XS utec i believe, from what i could gather it's a piggyback on the factory ecu and can be removed... I don't really have any mods on here besides test pipes and exhaust, i don't need this on here so is there a process to remove it? I've had the car 2 months almost, 2003 350z. Thanks

 

It just goes in between the harness and the factory ecu. Unplug/unbolt and plug factory harness to factory ecu.

So it just unplugs? Do i need to get a retune or anything? I tried to download the manual but it wentw let me open it up, kinda frustrating

 

You will get rid of any tune and work only off stock ecu.

Just unplugs. Do it with battery disconnected as with any ecu swap.
You should also have a map sensor in the engine bay

 

What happened with this uniy? did you remove and sell it?
