Lightbulb I need opinions on Nismo style v3 wing

Hello,

I had this car for about 4 months or so, and I'm absolutely loving it. Albeit it was my dream car, as soon as I had enough money saved up for it, I went out and bought it.

I'm thinking about to buy a duraflex fiberglass nismo v3 wing. My Z is all stock and I plan to keep it that way, except wheels, and in the future, Invidia Gemini Exhaust. I plan to keep my Z as clean as possible, but I do love the nismo wing so much. Would it considered to be a ricer? Would the wing looks weird or out of place on my 03 350z? To me, it looks fantastic; but i know car culture can be critical sometimes.

Thank you very much

Fitment will be an issue with Duraflex. The Bayson R one on ebay has had good review and its made of ABS. On a stock Z it will look very incomplete, and will take away from looking clean. Clean IMO means simple/minimal or the overall look of the car is complete meaning all mods complement each other giving the car a "clean" look.

As a racer, I'm all about function. If a part makes my racecar faster (and is allowed within the rules) or more durable, it's a must to examine. But the V3 wing by itself doesn't really serve much purpose. Perhaps above 100 MPH at certain circuits it provides some downforce, but even at most tracks, it's not much of a factor. For over $5K (the price of an OEM V3 bodykit), it's not something I want to spend my money on. For a streetcar, keeping it clean aerodynamically makes more sense.

I would definitely question the choice if you would retain the non Nismo bumper and slapped on a V3 wing. I want to get the V2 wing for my car however when I do I also plan to put on the V2 bumper so they can compliment each other really well. That's my reasoning for putting on similar parts to "complete" the look as "K20Z350" said. However why would you let the thoughts of others influence a decision YOU are making for YOUR car?
