I built a private car sales search engine (Z' included of course)
Hi all, so I wanted to share:
https://hiddenrides.com/ .
This is a side project/hobby for me - mainly because I enjoy browsing various car forums to see what cars I can afford at any given time.
Shared this on a few other forums and got positive feedback so thought i'd spread the love.
Any thoughts/feedback would be appreciated!

I just spent some time navigating it. Its extremely stream lined and simple. I love how it pulls from all sorts website and drops it there. Most of the cars i saw i'd guess aren't on many of the main websites. Good job!
Does the website automatically search other websites to pull car listings, or do you/the car owner have to list them manually?

Thanks for checking it out.
Its pulling automatically from the forums (took alot of time building out the software). if you click the pictures, it just outlinks you to the forum/source.

I like this.. how long would you say it took you to build? I notice you said it’s a hobby but do you think you could monetize it at some point?

I hope you have taken steps to protect the IP. This is a wonderful idea.

hey - it took a couple months to get started, between the source collection, actual work, building scraper code, designing website, etc...
at this point i'm focused on building out the tool versus monitization.
maybe in the future, but just glad people are enjoying the product atm.

Have you considered affiliate marketing?

Does it have beef with searching in Canada? Seems to pull no results when I choose that as the location. Otherwise, looks awesome!

Ha - no beef with Canada
There are a few Canadian listings on there, but theres just not enough forum classifieds supply.
