After looking online about how to decode the VIN I see that the last numbers are the production numbers. In my 03' Z my VIN ends with 0005. Does that mean that it's the fifth 350z to be made in the U.S.? Sorry if the question seems dumb, but i needed to clarify.

@zakmartin, maybe I worded my question wrong. I already looked at that. My question is, do the last numbers mean the production line number of the car off of a specific factory? or in the entire USA.. For example, could there be multiple cars that end with 0005 or just one.

I believe there are multiple cars that could end with a 005 depending on the market they were produced for, as well as options. There was some discussion about this not too long ago when someone was selling the first 350Z and we tipped Jalopnik off to it.
