Default Tire fix/retention program

There is a post on Zcar.com concerning a "tire fix and retention program" coming from Nissan in the next 2 weeks?!
Has anyone on this forum heard anything?? I am especially interested in the details of the owner retention program.
I want to believe that Nissan is finally taking the "bull by the horns" and "not just throwing the bull"!
I will definitely be making a decision on my 350Z in the next 2-3 weeks and this is something that can/will have a major impact on that decision. I don't know anymore that I have posted.
A very anxious and hopeful Zcar owner.

I mean no offense to whoever posted that, but that is about the millionth time we've heard that post. It looks as though the deal is this: Nissan believes that with the correct alignment, the tire life is adequate. If your tires wore out in the first year/12k or if you are just plain lucky, they might replace them for you...but otherwise you're on your own. Needless to say this is not how Nissan should take care of $30k car buyers...but they've gotten away with it.

The poster (znstarz) brought our complaints to a Regional meeting (East Coast I believe) and was told by Nissan reps to be expecting a tire fix and owner retention program to be coming our way in a week or two. That is more definitive than what I have seen posted here. Go to Zcar and read his words for yourself, I think they offer some new hope.

This is very true. NNA stated the same information to me, but did not allude to a certain date. Remember, the Bose"fix" took over a year to come together. Feathering is more complicated. It should take a little longer. We'll see what happens.
