I don't know but if you look under the hood it's pretty easy to spot the extra variable valve gear covers left and right.

 

The auto trans has never been paired with the Rev up.

 

What Zkiwi said. Terrasmak is correct though, I don't believe 06 autos ever had the Revup engine as the "oil consumption" issue was never connected with the automatic trans equipped 06 350Z.

You purchased your car used. Previous owners DO mod their cars, swap parts, reflash the ecu, etc etc. All you had to do was google, 06 autos came with the de non rev-up motor and lower redline from the factory.
