And the intake setup are virtually the same minus the enhanced velocity stacks on the intake which is better in my opinion then any aftermarket intake . There have been literally no intakes i have seen that make power on a revup motor beyond the stock intake. That may be the reason that many tuner companies use the stock intake with a better filter and varis duct which inlet air directly from out side. I recommend a tube also directly flowing from out side directly into the box really the best intake so far capping off the Z for 06 not including the HR motor.

the reuvp is a higher reving motor some call vq35DER . It has a 7k rev limiter and is 30% different from a VQ35DE . Its potential is really only seen on a road race course from my views and on the straights or highway runs will out run a reg VQ. but 1/4 unfortuneltly the benefits dont really suit it for 1/4 runs. As you wont see the tq pattern as prominant as the reg DE and times as seen in the 1/4 wise wont really be as great as the reg DE its a top end DE with runners that are a benefit top end as well as different pistons and rings etc in the version called V2 that solved the oil issue some may have.

It also has : Intake and Exhaust valves (electronic variable valve timing on exhaust sides) that the reg DE doesnt have on both sides.

This engine was basically the result of the S1 engine which was a limited more aggresivly tuned engine.

Some more info as per wiki:

The 35th Anniversary and Track 350Z 06 350z's :also included revised pistons and camshaft profiles, and a new type of control to the variable valve timing.
