So let's play a game... Can you guess that bushing?? Found this in my driveway recently and the next time I took my Z out it was tracking a bit off center and the steering/suspension definitely felt off. Preliminary checks look ok for the major components but maybe it's something on the rack? Steering shaft?

man i like guessing games like this but this is a tough one. Looks like inner sleeve of some sort of bushing for sure. Looks like the inner bushing is a 2 piece since the edges look like a clean line instead of bent metal. first guess is LCA bushing but don't recall holes in the OEM bushing. then UCA but then again the metal sleeve on the inner doesnt have holes. compression is a no because too small. sway bushings a no too small.
AH HA. its LCA bushing. i got money on it! inner sleeve, peep the pic (taken from this website by JasonZ-ya.
ur symptoms are exactly what would happen if this bushing gives away which is pretty common!
go whiteline polyurathane!
Awesome dude! Thanks a bunch, I'll lift the front end up and double check then order some bushings. It definitely looks like you're right on the money. Already did the SPL control arm and diff bushings so it's about time I did some more!
