I've been stalking and occasionally bidding on Bring a Trailer and Cars & Bids.
These sites are nuts and sales prices are all over the place... one day a reasonable sale, the next a similar/worse car for way more money.
There seem to be a whole lot of people with a ton of money just randomly bidding on things.
They get caught up in the competition and want to win - all sorts of comments like "hard fought"... "what a battle".
Lots of cars get re-sold after a year or so.
I guess if you have enough money it's a fun way to spend.

 

Agreed. I bid and won on two of my cars. When one could do well on them, back when BaT was still reasonable. I still have my roadster (from 7 years ago) but yeah, some of today's going prices are whack!!
