Default all HR transmission interchange?

i read that vq35hr transmission is the same as vq37vhr but want to confirm.

They are compatible but obviously the rev match feature won't work on the 350z

the rev match feature is available on the g37 so my 350z should still work as it should without it?

Correct, transmission will bolt up and work normally.

Might want to double check with Nissan. I'm pretty certain it will work BUT the HR and VHR non-SynchroRev transmissions do carry different model and part numbers.

But SynchroRev should be no problem - as Surfer indicated above - since it's an ECU feature with physical components of which do not include anything in/on the transmission.
