Has anyone removed the navigation screen ? Removed the screen?Does it throw any codes or lights on the dash??should i just shove the screen under dash..asking because i would convert to a cubby hole and woukd like to keep ac/heat

 

Pretty sure there are a couple YouTube videos showing how to remove the nav unit. It’s not a huge deal at all.

 

I know that if you remove the NAV's keypad, and turn on the car with the keypad disconnected and cubby hole opened, the NAV unit will beep several times.
