Default An introduction

Hi guys,

Allow me to introduce myself as a very proud owner of a new 350Z and possibly the first South African on the forum.

I am not to sure of the specs on my vehicle (I didn't know there were so many until i came here) , other than it is the Coupe (silver with black leather interior) and is, I believe, a full import from Japan.

I certainly look forward to exploring the site when time away from my car allows.

Regards
Phillip.

PS.. whre would I get specs on the standard Bose sound system fitted in my 350Z. The dealers here have no knowledge, the manual is hopeless and the South African website is worse.

There are dozens of different variations of the Zee (Zed to you) depending on the country that the car is being shipped to. Here is a web site that lets you check out Nissan Z specs in various countries. http://www.nissan-global.com/EN/GLOBAL/ I am pretty sure that I have seen others on here from S. Africa before. Z people are everywhere! By the way, I hope to be visiting your country in May for a 10 day safari adventure (Cape Town area I believe). What color is your Z, I'll look for it........

Thats for the info on the different specs.

I am in Johannesburg so it is doubtful we will run into each other in Cape Town (they are about 1,400km apart) but just in case, it is silver and gorgeous :-)

Safari adventure near Cape Town? There are some great wine farms in the area, but contrary to popular belief, we don't have lions walking down the streets, and there is no real wilderness nearby.

Congradulations on your purchase. My family is from South Africa actually.
I still have lots of relatives there. They live in a town called George.

Yes, definately the looks....

And the performance......

And value for money here in South Africa. It is about 1/2 the price of a Porsche Boxster and about 10% less than a Crossfire.
