A few days ago my girlfriend rolled down the window on the passenger side and without realizing it LEFT THE POWER WINDOW BUTTON PRESSED IN THE DOWN POSITION. This resulted in the button panel to melt and burn a little (as seen in pictures) and caused the window to get stuck in the down position and wont roll back up. I have done the following but no luck....
-Checked the fuses (Cant find power window fuse) but all seem good)
-Replaced passenger window motor (this is my 2nd motor)
When I attempted to roll up passenger window with driver side button, its Makes a clicking sound in the door panel but won't go up.
No the window lock button is not pressed down lol.
The wire harness that connects to passenger arm panel that connects to the window switch only have power going to half of the wires in the harness.
It's got stuck in the down position cause I wrapped my arm rest. No wires were melted... only the button.
The ORANGE LIGHT on window button turned off but the LOCK AND UNLOCK BUTTON still work and ORANGE light is lit.
Please help me yall! Idk when its gonna start raining.. ): Passenger side power window button (after being stuck in the down position)

Ouch! Thankfully your car didn't turn into a bonfire.
Where to begin.
There are no fuses for our window switches/motors.
You mentioned you replaced the motor, but I don't see where you stated that you replaced the switch assembly. The fact that you have power up until this point indicates that the switch would be the initial starting point of your problem. This would have been my first replacement since it was damaged.
I assume the reason you only have power to half of the harness is because those wires are hot once switched. If you hold the switch to the "up" or "down" position and don't have power to those other wires, then your switch is definitely part of, or, the problem.
Definitely work on your wrap once you get it all working

Thanks for the advice friend (: I was planning on ordering one today since this one is toast "literally" haha Do you believe using a nissan titan, maxima or Altima window switch would plug right up to a 350z? They're exactly the same looking with look, size and connecting harness prong number #. It's because the only Z part I found was about $80 for the stupid switch but I found a 2008 nissan titan switch for $30..
Took the time to check into your question. Searched the part number for our switch on CourtesyParts. The part number comes back to the 350z and does not mention fitting any other vehicles. So I'd be comfortable saying that the switch from those other vehicles would not fit.
Do you have any junkyards near by that you could try to source one from?
Try checking this forum and see if anyone is parting their Z out.

I appreciate you going the extra mile and doing some research for me, yeah I noticed the same thing.. the Altima switch does not have a doorlock button but rather a window lock button. And 370z have a different harness style. I ended up purchasing a 2007 350z convertible window switch for $20 on Ebay (shown in picture). They normally go for $35 - $60 so I got a good deal. I'll hook it up and see if that makes my window roll back up! And swap out the scratched up button with the buttons my switch had originally that got melted.
You're welcome. Work is slow so I had a little extra time. lol
Were you by able to verify the part numbers by chance?
The reason that I ask is because that listing states "03-09", but according to Nissan the part numbers are different between the 03-05 and the 06-09 models.
Nissan states that the part numbers for the 03-05 switch is 25411-CD000, and it replaces CD010 and CD02A. The 06-09 part number is 25411-CM50D, and it replaces CM50B.
I am not familiar with the 06-09 models, but hopefully someone can confirm that the switches are interchangeable. I'd hate for you to receive this switch for the wrong model year and it not work or fit properly due to something changing between the two models.

No I did not verify the parts number but I'm pretty it should work because my 350z is a 2008 and they part I ordered on Ebay came from a 2007 350z convertible. So it should match up perfectly (I hope so) on the back of the window switch it has ">PA6-GF30<" that matches with the new one. The only difference is that my melted 2008 switch has an ink stamp on it that says "DD" on the back while my ebay ordered part has the mark "D4" dont know what this means but I'm pretty sure everything will plug and play. I'll keep the post updated for when I recieve my part from ebay this week.
If you have a jump box you could run some wires to the window motor and just get the window up that way.
No it doesn't rain alot in vegas but when it rains its pours like crazy for like 30mins haha streets flood, cars crash all that jazz! Haha looks like rain today though but I got myself a big ol' blue tarp covering my car. I have never used a jump box to power something up but thanks for the suggestion, I would of never thought of that! If worse comes to worse I will probably do that but do some research before hand. 😁
You should be good then. I didnt see the year of the convertible in the listing, but it's from the same line so you should be fine. I can't remember if it bypasses the switch or not, but you could try putting the key in the keyhole on the driver's door, turning it in the "lock" direction (toward the engine), and holding it for about 3 seconds. This rolls the windows up.

Yeah I have tried this method but sadly it wouldn't go up 😓 however this method did work when I first bought my Z and it had a bust window motor. Someone would roll the window down in the car but it refused to go back up. But if I tried the key trick it would always go back up... then I replaced the motor and everything was back to normal 😁
Let us know once you receive the switch and if it works. I'd be comfortable saying that you should be good after that. Then again, I can't say with 100% certainty since I can physically evaluate the whole setup.
The new window switch button came in and the window rolled up......halfway. I believe this is because I need to do a window reset but my window motor did not come with a RESET BUTTON ): (Not OEM window motor) but it can also be the camber angle of the window. I believe it is adjustable but idk how to. Does anyone have a different forum that I can be directed too? Would highly appreciate it 😁😁😁😁😁😄
I positioned the window in the incorrect spot causing it to only roll up halfway..... it needs to be in between that area with the red arrow. After properly repositioning the window it still only went up half way.... until i closed the door while sitting inside the car. Then it went up 100% automatically (^:
The most annoying step when messing with the window..... removing the window rails.
After removing my door panel and examining my window. I noticed the window was NOT ALINED correctly in its proper placing, this happened when I installed the new window motor (As seen on 1st picture with arrows) after i noticed this i removed the black panel and window rails which is super annoying but I had too, I moved the window to sandwich in between its proper lining and bolted everything back up! .......and the window only went up half way with the button BUT!! WHEN I shut the door the window went up ALL THE WAY automatically (^: I was so happy to finally have the window go up!!
