Was cruising on I95 and when I hit 100mph it all of a sudden shut off and Rev was set too 6200....thought I broke the car and wasn't sure what happen. I though these rice burners get up to 140 + mph....does anyone know if they do? I want to take it to a 1/4 mile track but I'm worried that it will happen again...Any advice?

 

Advice? Sure, don't hit triple digit speeds on public roadways.

Sounds like you have the car in "street" mode, which prevents it from going above 100mph for safety reasons. Place it in "track" mode and you will be good to go as fast as your heart desires.

 

I like this guy … obviously he'll never be back … but how many oem/stock/near stock/slightly modified street cars can do 140 in a 1/4? my 475hp tt build did 145 in a half.
