Default OBD2 reading problems

Does any one know why my ODB2 connection won't connect to a reader. Like what fuse would I have to check if it is a fuse..or if it can be another sort of Electrical problem. I'm no good when it comes to electrical at all. So any advice would be a help. It's also a JDM as well....
thank you

have you tried using multiple OBD2 readers to see if its just 1 faulty reader? or test that reader on a different car to see if it reads?
