Default Weird question about the Rays

I have a 2006 Touring edition with the factory Rays wheels the weird thing is everywhere I have seen (including this forum) says that the rear wheel width should be 265. Mine is 295 has anyone come across this?

Hey Nick,

I was googling Taranaki, it says New Zealand, is that so?
How old are you?
The previous owner might have changed the tires.

Wheel or TIRE width?

Widest factory WHEEL offered on Z33 was 254mm (10”) wide. You must be ref’n to tires. If so, yeah, they’ve been switched up to 295s. 265/35-19 on "GT wheels"?

And, if 265 is spec’d tire width, your factory Rays must be what we got here in USDM as “Grand Touring package” wheels. US Touring version only came with garden variety 8.5” wheels that year.

Are these the wheels on your car?
