I am trying to remove the open differential carrier and replace it with a Quaife carrier on my base 07 350Z. I have
the diff opened and the bearing caps removed. But the carrier will not budge from its case. Any ideas on how to
remove it? I know there exists a case spreader tool. I also fear that if and when I get it out, I will have the same
difficulty installing the Quaife. Also, anyone that has done this upgrade, did you use the two bearing side shims?
