I'm trying to confirm whether or not the current part for the 2006 airbox has the venturi ring upgrade as pictured. The part number for the whole '06 assembly is 16500-CF10A (#1 in photo) which is different from my '05 part number. The airbox body by itself, which I think is all I would need, is 16528-CF100 (#7 in photo) but I would like to know if it is indeed the upgraded intake with venturi ring, since the part numbers differ I'm hoping it is. Any help is appreciated.

 

What I did was go to the junkyard and find an airhorn that will fit. I found one on an older BMW. The airhorn is much bigger that the 2006 airhorn. For details, check out my thread in 350Z Roadster forum entitled Project Nismo Roadster.
