Question Uprev or standalone

I have a 350z uprev model. Is it worth it to install a standalone ecu or keep my current ecu?

Depends on your power goals.

Assuming OP means a model year 2006 with the RevUp engine? and not a Uprev tuned car?

what do you want to do with the car PBZ?
what are your power goals?
how much money do you have to spend?
how are you going to tune this (yourself or a tuner)?
do you have annual emissions check / sniff / plug-in to comply with?

Unless you have big big plans and deep deep pockets Uprev is more than sufficient

I do mean the Revup engine.
I have power goals of around 450+.
I have enough for a haltech if I decide to go that route.
I'm planning on going to a tuner.
I don't have emissions to comply with in my state.

Cool - just making sure...

450hp+ ... do you have a built-block?

What turbo kit do you have? What other supporting modifications do you have on the car?

with no emissions control you can run a standalone.

How much money do you have to throw at this entire endeavor?

what do you want to do with this car after its done? Street machine? drag? circuit race?

Talk to whoever you're going to have do the tuning, do what they recommend.
