Default HKS rep exhaust convert to single exit

Hello, so i've been thinking of deleting one of the muffler&resonator on my rep hks exhaust and routing it together into the other muffler making it into a single exit.
Was wondering if it would affect the back pressure in a negative way, I dont see why it would but better to have some backing towards it. also has anyone done this and have a clip?
*Midpipe resonators were switched out for a magnaflow xpipe & car has gutted resonated tpipes
thanks!

Mine is a full true dual Top Speed system, and it’s only 2.25” piping front to back, so yea you will have a slight increase in back pressure, and possibly power, depending on the car and it’s mods. Single-exit systems make up for this by using larger diameter piping.
