I recently bought a 2005 Z and noticed that the was a RJ11 cord (old land line style) barely hanging from the drivers side near the windshield and the visor. Was this stock or possibly put in for a radar detector etc. Any thoughts?

Edit: If so what is applicable? I searched everywhere and found only one thing that took that type of connection.

Is there a modern one that you know of by chance? All I found was a V1 for $300 and it was outdated.

I believe the V1 Gen 2 still uses the same old school telephone landline connection, but it looks like their website is down for maintenance at the moment.
