Default Passport 8500 x50 Updatable?
Searched on this couldn't find any info.

Does anyone know how to update the passport 8500 radar detector? I was told that you plug it into a phone line but in the instructions it never says how to update it. Anyone? Thanks.

was just on the escort website and they do not even mention that it is upgradeable
