I'm sure I speak for everyone here by saying there are zero issues with this purchase and positive you won't find anything wrong with it in the future.
Is it worth buying a 2003 350z salvage title with 200,000 plus miles on it for 2 thousand dollars $2,000. alternator and starter being replaced
I would say to go for it, as long as this is not your primary car (as long as you have a back-up vehicle), and if you have a place to work on it. I would not recommend buying it with the expectation to take it to a shop everytime something needs repair - that won't make $sen$e.
Until you have some history with the car (a few thousand miles), I don't think you'll have a complete sense of how "trustworthy" it will be on the road.
Do you know why it was branded with a salvage title? Accident damage - if so, what kind? Flooding? Fire?
Its well worth it , i bought my first salvage car 2004 350z front end wreck $2600 , after looking at how much the parts were i bought a flooded 2005 for 1650 " you cant get them for that low anymore" , took the parts from the flooded one to fix the wrecked one , son in law wanted the car i gave it to him for every penny i had in it that ended up being $5500 , now 2 years later i decided i wanted to fix the flood car , im at $5000 into a 0$ car most of it is all replacement parts that were takin off for the other Z also add $2200 for wheels so currently at $7200 into it and it hasnt left the yard yet.
