Don't deface those Rays with a black paint job. Silver not only looks great, it shows off potential cracks and other potential damage much easier.

If anything, I would say polish them with a clear coat.

I think that black is played out so definitely wouldn't go that route.. I would suggest silver or polish them. I had my Track wheels professionally polished and they are very easy to maintain.

I'm feeling the polished look. Hope you don't mind me whoring out your thread.
I'm thinking about doing the same with my 19" Rays that came on my G35 but with the weakened aircraft remover formula, I may pay to have them done.
