235 tires on front oem rims
I don’t think there will be a problem, but would appreciate a little input. I have a chance to buy new 235 (/45/18) Michelin Sports and thought they should be close enough to oem 225s to not be a problem. Thanks for any replies.

do you have tcs or vdc, because that taller tire may affect it. @MicVelo is better with this stuff and he will throw in his tire knowledge

Just for future reference, there are two 18" tires for the front that are "standard fitment": 225/45-18, 245/40-18. Note Nismo 18" front uses the latter on 9" wheel.
One or two sizes for 19" front wheels: 245/35 or 255/35-19
You can play with sizes - like doing 35 aspect tires on 18s but make sure they are both 35 aspect ratio, e.g. 245/35 and 275/35 to maintain the F/R size/wheel speed delta at 3% +/- 0.25% on TCS (sorta) and VDC (mandatory) cars to avoid unwanted triggering of traction system(s). But honestly, don't see any practical reason to deviate as such given the shorter height/smaller diameter tire creating wheel gap and the steering response gain is not that big of a deal. Just sayin'.
