Cosworth Twin Plenum end caps
I found a couple rough cast Cosworth Intake plenums on Ebay, I was thinking about offering the guy a cheap price to buy them all. My buddy has a machine shop and says that for a couple hundred bucks he could have all 4 drilled and surfaced.
My question is, has anyone made their own end caps for a cosworth intake manifold? I have alot of fab and welding experience and i think i could have them made in a day. Also maybe somone has a 3D printed file or something out there and that is certainly a way to go.
any feedback would be much appreciated.

Don't take this the wrong way but if you cannot 100% DIY fix these without having to ask a question....then run, it is above your skillset. 1200 bucks for something that needs that much work and is missing hardware, seals and endcaps, no thanks.
The jigging required to set that piece in a CNC to then create the drilled tapped holes and the seal channel...and then flip it and do it all over....not fun.
It aint worth it.

Yeah I was only going to offer 500-600 for each. I don't think anyone will buy them. I think with machining and fab for the end caps that I would not have 1k in each manifold.
Since I would do one for my Z anyway and doing the work for 1, doing multiple just makes sense to me. Hopefully its not a total waste lol.

Looks interesting for sure - does the inside need finished / polished / ported too?
They look pretty rough … I wonder how he came about them? I wonder if he picked them up as ‘seconds’
I think one of the alures of that intake and why they command such a pretty price is how well they are finished and how good they look when they’re done.
I wouldnt even give him $500 bc how much work it’ll take to make them respectable and functional.
I dont know your skill level nor what you have planned for end caps but I would not expect to sell them for anything over $100 to $300 as people are going to see these as clones or knock-offs.
If you do decide to purchase them keep us updated on your plan and progress
