Can someone please help identify this6 pin plug on 2005 350z?
So come to find the owner prior to me wasn't an electrical pro, had to limp home for 100 miles and kinda shocked I made it home with this connector melted down and disconnected. I am trying to attain the name or part number of this female sided 6 pin connector on the left in the picture. Must order one asap! Thanks all!
why are your photos so distorted? can't even tell what that connector is because it's screwy or something. is your throttle body harness connected? I can't see it because your hand is in the way in both photos.
here's a photo of the TB and MAF connectors in my '03.
Yes bealljk!!!! You nailed it right on the head! Now, what I am wondering, is if I were to replace the female side connector, at https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/pr...roducts_id/534, is it VERY difficult to screw in the other end, like as in does the motor have to be out? Can I access the area in which it must be screwed in?b Thanks again, I appreciate you guys! Scott
P.S. ALSO for some reason the links you offered both take me to the male connector and I cannot seem to find the female connector. Can you offer another link to the correct part bealljk

Oh good lord - if you have to take the engine out to replace an o2 sensor than we got bigger problems … these are not german cars…
You can access the o2 sensors pretty easy from the bottom of the car - you probably want to spray it with PB Blaster and possibly use an o2 sensor socket. And please use extreme caution and ensure the car is well-supported if you intend to work under the car and torque on things while under the car. If this cannot be done than take it to a mechanic with a lift.
female side would be the connector on the o2 sensor which is on the right side I believe?? male side would be on the engine harness. I ‘may’ have that pig-tail on the harness side - I’ll check
If you melted the male-side than you need to a replacement connector … I would call / email Ballenger directly and ask them - I believe those are Bosch LSU 4.2 oxygen sensors - I dont immediately see them on their website.
LOL! Agree about the motor comment but hey, any designer who designs a spark plug that fits into a cavity in which the actual plug wire parts fall into and get jammed down in the cavity, leaves much to be desired in such a design! So I thought i would ask. It is actually the female side that melted. Hey, you have been awesome in helping me out here I thank yu!
But here in lies the challenge, I dont need the whole harness.... previous owners did something really funky with these wires and roiuting.... so what I REALLY need is just the connector so I can rewire it.... and the female connector which I have spent hours looking for and can't find anywhere.- here's soem good pics
if the sensor side is compromised, you can't simply replace that as it doesn't exist as a standalone part. The sensor would need to be completely replaced.
