My son’s engine begins to fume a white smoke on the side where the coolant pipe comes from radiator, I though it was a broken hose but is not. When I look trying to find out what is it it looks like behind and below the inlet… is not the head gasket, looks clean at least clean enough to nod smoke like that. Any ideas where to look? Or better… what is it?

 

White smoke is typically water. How many miles are on this Z? When were the radiator hoses (and clamps) last changed?

 

No idea, we bought the car in december, since then we are working on it. I tough the same but just check the hoses.

 

What's it smell like.
Could be oil leaking on the exhaust
Anything on the ground?
What's the undercarriage look like

is the rear main seal, front crank seal and the upper oil pan.

Which means a lot of work
