dv_johnson won the bet
Well, Dan Johnson won the bet he had with me. He told me I'd want to drive his Chrome Silver 350Z. I said I'd be fine not driving it.
That was until I saw it in the daylight. OH MY GOD. This car is a rocket and then some. He told me it was broken in and there is no way I'd do anything to it that he hadn't already done, so I should treat it as my own.
I did.
Speedlimit on the I-90 is 60. I came off the offramp, not really watching the Speedo, just watching traffic and deciding who I'd pass first. (haha). Dan motions to the speedo... 100mph and climbing.
Whoa. Whoa. Did I mention Whoa?
This car is too much fun. I am kicking myself in the *** for selling my spot, lemme tell ya. So now, I am planning a short trip to California... going to get myself a Z for a few days come hell or high water. Wow. Damn.
Corny shot.... Dan will post the burn out (donut) pix when he gets home on Sunday night or Monday

Its is KILLING me keeping this car under 4000, and also at least trying to keep it within the boundaries of the law.
It was the little devil on my shoulder, "come on brad, I'm not even breathing hard". Every now and then you look at the speedo, and its doing 90 and you had no idea!

It's really not fair, we are being restricted to the same maximum speed limit as some kid in a chevette or some soccer mom in an excursion. Even though it takes her twice as long to come to a stop. There should be a separate speed limit for the Z (as well as compairable cars).

I know! I was doung about 7-10 over, keeping it safe because this strip of road is crawling with cops, when this guy in a station wagon strains to blow by me in the other lane. I just let him, but I was laughing right at him.
BTW, has anyone felt the need for 6th. I just havn't gone fast enough I guess, i know its an overdrive and all, but thats so cool knowing that you have a whole gear left when doing 80.
