Hello. Would replacing rhe rubber intake hoses with silicon intake hoses improve intake noise? Someone told me it would especially with short ram intake I already have (injen sp1988).

Is this true? I'm looking for a deeper growl and also the "whistle' intake sound I had on my old 2004 DE with K&N Typhoon air intake

Thank you

Looking to replace the rubber intake tubes with aluminum ones. I hears the intake sounds more aggressive and even has a "hiss" sound when accelerating .

I can't find any for the HR though. They never made one ? And is there a downside to alumimum ?

I can find silicon tubes but I'm told those muffle the intake noise even more

Heat soak and acoustics vary with materials.

Time for a turbo. VTA.
