I just put a blue k&n typhoon in my car. 330 bucks from autoanything. It looks and sounds amazing. It gave my car a beep throaty sound at wot. I can feel the difference but most people say you can't tell with just an intake. Either way, definitely worth it.

I bought a Weapon R intake for a Chevy Cavalier like 8-9 years ago. Looked super cool, but it was a pos. The housing cracked and peeled from the heat in the engine bay, the filter material was not that of K&N.

I would not recommend Weapon R to anyone.

The best intake people have been talking about is the 2006 OEM. It has a velocity stack in it that gives faster air flow.

The second best bang for the bucks is the JWT, IMHO. Buy used, no need to buy a new one. I have one used in my garage. If you are interested, PM me

DragonR is for looks only IMO.

There's a little town near me that has a flock of Cavaliers... I think the Chevy Stork shat out a bunch there on the way to kill itself.

Made me lol.

I have JWT Pop Chargers on my Z. They look awesome. But I don't know about anything else since they came with the car

Looks/Performance/Cost: Popcharger

Performance/Cost: 06+ stock airbox, w/ high flow filter of your choice.

Looks/ performance: Stillen Intake

^^^I vote this to be the intake sticky. No one else would be allowed to reply to the thread, just title it DE Intakes Period and list those three things. DONE (period)

You overpaid I got mine for 245. It's a great intake. I did notice a little difference but not much, mostly got it for aesthetics but it sounds awesome, definitely one of the loudest out there for the DE.

If you check out 'mighty car mods' on youtube they do a test on intake filters. The main problem with 'dress up' items is that they're just that and more often than not they cause a decrease in power due to heat soak. The 350 is a sports car and not a civic so parts are gonna be more expensive and it'd be a shame to fit something that was 'all show and no go'. MCM's also dispels the spurious claims of some manufacturers by running cars on a dyno to prove that at best these filters only offer an increase of 2 to 3 hp, something that you're not going to notice when in the seat.

Nismo cold air intake. Way better than that cheap pop charger or weapon r crap. And it's made by the same people who made your car which means a lot of research and engineering has been done to give consistent results.
