Check out the ZR sub forum to see if anything mimics the issues you're having. https://my350z.com/forum/350z-roadster-124/

Unfortunately, troubleshooting the convertible top issues can be a fickle bltch and there is no one-size-fits-all solution.

If the fuse is fine, inspect the hydraulic fluid level if your model has a hydraulic system, as low fluid can cause issues. Sometimes, the motor itself can get stuck or fail. If you're comfortable, you can try to manually operate the top by following the manual's instructions for https://tropical-casino.com/ emergency operation. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it might be best to consult a mechanic or a dealership for a more thorough diagnosis and repair.

Huh?

The ZR does not use hydraulics for the top mechanism.

Heel is correct; the Z33R uses an all-electric mechanism and no hydraulics. It's a complex mechanism that uses several systems (seats, windows, top mechanism and several motors) working together to retract or put the top up or down. The ZR is simply not an easily diagnosable system for the DIYer. I hope you got a sizable discount on the sale of this '08 model, as you'll likely need a Nissan expert or tech to repair it.

When I replaced mine, the entire working-not-working part came down to some sort of a connection I had to tape over during the process and nothing worked until I removed that "break." I wish I could remember more, it was a long time ago
