HOLY CRAP!!!
I got my VIN #... 3207.
Just called the dealer, and got it. He said some other customer's car with a W tracking number just arrived today and was expected around Sept. 27th...
He told me to expect October 2nd give or take 10 days.

Ok really wierd. NNA said no vin yet in their computer (about 2 days ago)...and just for the hell of it called my sales guy for the first time asking for vin. Says he has it already but will call me back as he was in the middle of something (probably with another customer).
I'll let you know as soon as I hear from him where this vin stands...

As mentioned earlier...mine is 180xx, and no word from my dealer about anything earlier than the Nov. 2nd date I had been given most recently. No VIN yet, but he said he may have something within the week.
Just got my VIN
JN1AZ34E23T004753 WOO HOO Supposed to be delivered on the 25th but that was until the strike Maybe early Nov.

Haven't had time to catch the news much lately...nor spend much time on this site....what strike? And what are some of the details that affect those of us waiting? Is your guess at early Nov. open ended depending on?????

I called my dealer and found out my car is on the boat!
It should be on the boat that comes to the LA ports on or around Oct 15, I'm assuming.
Assuming the strike has ended. Does anybody have an idea of how long it would take to get to New Mexico?
I bought my car out of state because my parent's friend is a nissan dealer and gave me a great price.

Funny thing...I finally have my VIN....I called my dealer last week and he said they should be able to get it for me then. No call back...so I called Nissan Consumer Affairs and while after explaining to the rep my situation and desire for the VIN...and after waiting on the line for nearly 15 minutes she gets back on to tell me my dealership "JUST" got that information that same day and that I should call them. Communication on this whole thing sucks...but I got what I wanted. Was told the current delivery date is now Nov. 6th ...give or take.
