Does anyone with a W order number have a VIN number yet?

I have W order number with vin. in the 2900's.Expected del. oct.

 

I do too dealer said mid to late october. But i don't have VIN

What is your tracking number? Mine is W1807XX and I'm being told I won't see mine until Nov. I've been told I might get a VIN # as soon as next week, but nothing yet. Trying to get a feel for where I sit.

I think we're all in the same boat or should I say I hope all our cars are in the same boat! I was told I should get my VIN by the end of the month too. How long from VIN to receiving car?Probably see the car late Oct. or early Nov.

 

Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Hual Traveller 9/30/02
United Spirit 10/15/02
World Spirit 10/24/02

If we're told that we will be getting our cars mid - late October wouldn't that mean that they would have to be arriving on the Hual Traveller (9/30/02). I *imagine* it takes about 3 - 4 weeks for the cars to arrive by truck.

It would seem. Where are you getting the somewhat specific information you have? Other posts have suggested some people have been able to identify where there car is "exactly" which may suggest we can do the same once our cars are on the boat...we will know which one, and be able to guesstimate our deliveries a little more accurately.

 

I'm expecting W179406 in early october. It was originally planned for early november, but my dealer said that the cars were coming in early. I ordered from Douglas nissan of orange... where did you order from?

 

i ordered from tustin nissan, my dad knows the owner, so i was able to get the last spot on their allocation.
p.s. my order# is W179555. expected early nov. also but i was told now i should expect it on 10/22

My tracking is W178xxx and nothing from the dealer. Their lameness continues..

 

W here. VIN with 2809. Expected OCT 11, originally expected to be late oct/nov. I am assuming that my car will be on the Hual Traveler arrving 9-30-02.

Anyone know if people getting cars like 7 days early is because the ship arrives early, or cuz of expedition to destination?

Expecting to receive my VIN# via fax from the dealer this week. They told me to expect it some time next month...

They also confirmed that a lot of cars are being delivered earlier than originally expected.

I ordered mine here at Stanford Nissan in the Bay Area, CA on 06/17.

I was just at Tustin Nissan today getting my 90,000 mile service there. (man I could have used a "know-the-owner" discount). anyway there was a chrome silver 6mt touring there. I was grinning ear to ear knowing that I'ld be driving one of those in about a month.

 

yea, its cool, he assured me that the car would not even be seen on the showroom floor. he said i am the only one who orderd frost interior and 1 of 2 daytona blues... we'll see how it goes.
i just wonder why all these people who ordered in may are getting their cars at the same time i do... o well, maybe they can iron out some kinks the first batch had, if any..

VIN is 3411 with a projected 11/4 delivery!

 

I ordered from Nissan Douglas of Orange on May 26th. When I was ordering my vehicle, I called Tustin Nissan but they either were charging a markup or didn't have any more pre-order slots left.
